The reggae mix has today fully become a part of what is called mainstream, meaning that it is being played across the world. Many of these DJ’s don’t have the money to distribute across the world so the internet is there for help. Today people who never even listened to reggae before are tuning in and taking part in this journey. The mixes are basically a way to showcase the new and also old reggae and dancehall music of the Caribbean to the whole world. There is no doubt that they have pushed the music into a different level of popularity.
